Your holiday is a great opportunity to discover the wonderful Var region, which place side by side the famous Cote d'Azur beaches with the typical Provence inland, throughout charming and naturalistic landscapes. "Les Prairies de la Mer" is in the middle of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and is bordering with the lovely water village called Port-Grimaud, the famous French little Venice, because it is entirely build up on channels.

NEARBY…… At the same distance from "Les prairies de la Mer" (7 Km), you can find the greatest towns on the gulf: the legendary Saint-Tropez with its famous castle and millionaire yachts and, on the opposite side, Sainte-Maxime, the biggest one in the gulf. Towards the inlands, but always very close, you can visit a few town from the middle age such as Gassin, and its wonderful sightseeing, Grimaud village, Cogolin, Ramatuelle, Roquebrune. For sea lovers there's a really tempting offer. Besides the fine sandy beach of the camping, you can find nearby some of the nicer bay of the Cote d'Azur: "Pampelonne", the VIP beach and its 6 Km of fine sand, "L'Escalet" and "Le Gigaro", which are natural rocky beaches with several natural sandy coves still uncontaminated and wild between maritime pines.

...AND A BIT FURTHER the amazing Gorges of Verdon (the biggest Canyon in Europe), Porquerolles and Port-Cros island, Valensole and its infinite lavender fields, "Les Calanques" and the "Camargue" area, Avignon, Arles and Nimes, the Esterel and Cannes, Grasse and its perfume shops, Monaco and Nice and furthermore the Frejus zoo and the aquatic parks Aqualand and Marineland.
